The time has come...
Back in April, we announced our most exciting competition yet - the chance for you, the lovers of teapigs, to create your own blend to help celebrate our 15th birthday!
We knew this would be a popular idea but, boy, did you lot deliver! Over a THOUSAND entries later, co-founder and tea taster Louise poured over each & every one of your entries (with the help of a few luck teapig volunteers).
Now, we're excited to announce the 5 blend suggestions shortlisted:
black tea with mango, orange blossom & vanilla | submitted by Alyson M.
Inspired by: "My day doesn’t start without a cup of tea. I love drinking teas black, with no added milk or sugars. I believe a sign of a great tea is that it can stand alone. My favorite teas have a black tea base without being overpowered by fruit flavors like berry teas tend to be. I find citrus flavors always pair the best! Add a little vanilla and the tea is both bright and warm at the same time!"

rooibos with coconut, lemon, lemon balm, vanilla & blue cornflowers | submitted by Michelle J.
Inspired by: "I have recently been making homemade beauty products and this combination of ingredients came together to smell just like coconut lemon drizzle cake! I thought a tea using these flavours would be comforting and warm on an autumn/winters day, but light and zingy on a spring/summers day! I also love rooibos tea for it's earthy flavour and it’s many health benefits, as well as it being naturally free from caffeine - which means I can have as many cups as I like!"
